Test Event Management

The Ascertain Test Event Management (TEM) solution combines Ascertain EDR Generator (EDRGen), Rater, Matcher and a Test Call Generator.  It provides telcos with the facility to manage a comprehensive framework of test data streams that will help to prove on a daily basis that all operational systems are performing correctly.

In the TEM environment, EDRs are created by Ascertain EDRGen, passed to the live systems and, independently, to Ascertain Rater, which rates them.  These rated records are compared with rated records extracted from the live systems using Ascertain Matcher.  This allows rating accuracy to be fully verified.  In addition, with EDRGen it is simple to create sets of records that will effectively test bundles, rollovers and discounts (something which is very difficult with Test Call Generators).
