Cartesian have delivered their Ascertain Inter Systems Reconciliation (ISR) solution into a major UK triple-play operator to assure revenue and associated costs by reconciling their BSS data with the wholesale provider’s invoice data.
The Ascertain ISR solution reconciles the wholesale invoice data against the client’s billing data in order to reconcile the charges associated with the broadband and voice services the client offered from their wholesale provider. This reconciliation requires matching ongoing subscriber charges for products and services with invoice specific one-off charges from the wholesaler and associated rental and maintenance charges.
ISR collects and analyses data from disparate systems such as provisioning, order management and billing, and models the effects of late, early and cancelled transactions against subscriber accounts. The solution includes automatic discovery and mapping of new line items from the wholesaler; and delivers comprehensive, user-defined reports and KPIs. The end reports are integrated together within a case management solution for exception handling and workflow purposes.
Today, Ascertain ISR reconciles and provides assurance around 2 million transactions a month with a financial value of over £5 million per month.
