Richard Miguda
Director, Consultancy
As a Director of Consultancy, Richard is responsible for leading one of Cartesian's three consultancy practices, as well as for managing the delivery of services and products to several key clients. With nineteen years of experience in the telecommunications and financial industries, he has a thorough understanding of the operations of communications providers, including business functions, systems and processes, and provides clients with significant insight on end-to-end risk management strategies.
Before joining Cartesian in 1999, Richard worked for a software supplier to the telecom and finance sectors. Since then, he has provided leadership at Cartesian in high-profile and complex projects including service and financial assurance, provisioning and technical transformation. Richard’s in-depth experience ranges from retail and interconnect systems for triple play, to European fixed line, VoIP and mobile operators. He is also well versed in rating, billing, OSS and associated business functions, thus enabling him to advise customers on the wide range of interdependent issues that arise on complex projects.
Richard studied at the Fachhochschule Reutlingen in Germany. He speaks French and German, and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
